🌟 Great Smoky Mountains National Park – They explored the magic of the synchronous firefly show and experimented with lasers to understand bioluminescence.
❄️ Rocky Mountain National Park – The process of snow formation came to life as students explored the science behind weather and precipitation.
🧊 Glacier National Park – Using dry ice, they investigated how glaciers form, move, and shape the land.
🌲 Redwood National Park – They uncovered the secrets of the towering redwoods and how the fog provides moisture to strengthen these ancient trees.
To top it all off, all third graders participated in an exciting Dark Sky Engineering Challenge, diving into the wonders of space and engineering.
A huge thank you to the incredible teachers, staff, and students for making this such a fantastic day of learning and exploration! 🚀
