Nestled in sunny California, Ladera Stars fosters a love for exploration, innovation, and hands-on learning—making it the perfect setting for a national parks journey. With a thriving school farm, students don’t just learn about nature; they experience it firsthand.
Our visit took students on an epic tour through all the Wonderful and Wild Parks in our presentation, with the majestic Redwoods stealing the show. But the real highlight? Making snow and gleefully dumping it on Mr. Hannah’s head! ❄️😂 He was an absolute champ, taking it all in stride!
And let’s not forget the school’s feathered VIPs, Kickers and Oreo—their resident ducks—who made sure we felt extra welcome. What more could we ask for? Beautiful weather, an engaged community, and students eager to learn—a perfect way to end this leg of Crossing America! 🚀✨
