Crossing America – Ready to Launch Season 6
Crossing America is back for Season 6, and we are so excited to once again bring students and educators LIVE into America’s national parks and public lands.
This season, we are focusing on what has always been at the heart of Crossing America: LIVE Stream Adventures. Students will join us in real time from park sites across the country, meeting rangers, exploring these incredible places, asking questions, and learning about the history, science, people, and stories that make each place unique.
Over the years, Crossing America has connected more than one million students and educators with our national parks. Last season alone, more than 93,000 students joined us for our LIVE Streams. We still have a hard time wrapping our heads around that number. Thousands of students, sitting in classrooms all over the country, exploring a national park together at the same time.
Season 6 is happening because people believe in this work. This year’s LIVE Stream Adventures are funded in part by the National Park Foundation, along with donations from friends and supporters of Expeditions in Education. We are incredibly grateful for every person and organization helping us keep these experiences free and accessible to classrooms.
Each LIVE Stream Adventure will take students beyond the walls of their classroom and into a real national park site. They will hear directly from the people who know and care for these places, see things they may never have the opportunity to see in person, and hopefully leave wanting to know a little more.
We cannot wait to see where Season 6 takes us.
